Great Name

I was watching the Tony Awards last night, June 10, 2007 because the brother of my life rock was up for an award, which he won, and totally deserved.

While I was watching they showed a guy in the audience named Stark Sands. Now if I have ever seen Stark Sands in any of his many roles, I am not aware of it, but I love his name.

Isn't that the greatest name - Stark Sands. I love it! I get great brain images when I say "Stark Sands."

hey,

Wow is it busy for us all!
I have been travelling between N.Y.
ohio and ky. since april.

We also sold our house and moved to an apartment temporarily. We haven't been in an apartment since we were newlyweds!

We would like to see micah's adoption finalized before we start building in ky.

I have kept up reading the blog in between travel and the move. Our internet was off for eight days after we moved before it was hooked up.

A lot of what I have read just leaves me speechless.I do pray for you and your sons for strengh .
I am listening to you every time I read your posts.

I just got home from ky. this evening.I just wanted to comment about the " Great Name ".
Do you like your name?
I have always hated my name...
Howard...
I was named after both my grandfathers.I won't tell my middle name... it's even worse!

On television,a howard character is always some sissy, or a duck, or a nerd.
And, of course I was teased being called howard the coward in school...which is the farthest thing that would describe me!

I could go on and on about how I hate that name, but really it is all a joke now. What is in a name anyhow?... Whoever made that profound saying must not of had a name like " Howard " !

It could be worse...Do you know the johnny cash song, ( one of my favorites ) " My name is Sue "

Howard

I like my name. I like the story behind my name. The story goes that my dad stood and yelled names out until he found one that he thought would sound good when he wanted to call me into the house at night. Don't know if it is true or not, but that is what I have been told.

Howard is not a bad name, but I understand what you mean. Howard Cunningham was a good dad, but made to look like a buffoon a lot in the "Happy Days" show. Then again there is Howard Hughes. Eccentric yes, but so fascinating.

Wow, you have been busy, packing, moving, traveling back and forth. I'm so excited that you get to live in KY. I hope you like it once you get settled.

Is it good that reading this blog leaves you speechless at times? I'm not sure.

Curious about your middle name, my imagination is running wild.

Does anyone call you Howie? Or some other nickname of Howard? I would call you Howard if I met you. Raymond was always Raymond to me. He really didn't like to be called Ray, but some people called him that. He was too polite to tell them he didn't like it. Sometimes people would say "how is Ray doing?" and I would go "who, oh do you mean Raymond." Very few of them got the hint.

I like my boys names. They are great names. I won't say them on this blog, but they are great names. We made sure of that.

"My Name is Sue" great song. Johnny Cash. Isn't it sad to know we will never hear him sing a new song.

My dad employed a bulldozer operator once named Cheryl. It was confusing when he was around. I never knew which one of us dad was talking to when he yelled "Cheryl."

Don't keep hating Howard. It is a nice strong name. A man's name. I like it!

Feisty today aren't you.

I'm having a fibromyalgia flare up today, so my mind is very foggy and slow, so my guess will have to wait.

I'll be thinking about it though.

Growing up people used to make me name my dad and his siblings names because they thought they were so funny. Arlie, Local, Lonzel, Beaulah, Zula, Alma.

Guesses will come when brain works again.
