Raymond Would Be So Proud (WARNING to my Republican friends, you will probably be offended)

My youngest drew this comic based upon a suggestion from one of his teachers (she actually told him that a picture of the Statue of Liberty holding a shoe would be a funny comic - she knows our family way too well). This is just the type of thing Raymond would have put on one of his blogs.

Yes, I am offended. If it were a Democrat president who had a shoe thrown at him I would be offended too. It is a matter of respect for the office. Guess DEMS don't see it that way.

My son would have drawn the same picture for a DEM president if that is how he felt. This house has voted for both sides. The right to express ourselves is appreciated in this house. My boys are fairly well versed in what is happening in the world and in politics. My youngest watched all the televised presidential debates this year. He understands about respect, he also understands about how things have changed in the world and has his own opinion of decisions made by this administration. I am proud of the fact that he feels he can express his opinions.

If the President were to visit our home we would act appropriately and show respect to the OFFICE.
